Named after Cruel Copinger”, a notorious 18 century smuggler that once lived here. Copinger’s Cottage is a cosy, detached, ground floor cottage with a 4 star rating (English Tourism Council) in an idyllic rural setting a mile from the coastal path. The timeless village of Hartland is only a mile and a half away. Copinger’s is at the head of the famous Spekes Valley with its majestic waterfall.  There are beautiful views,countryside and walks all around with prolific bird and wildlife. A warm invitation to visit our family run self contained ground floor cottage with free parking. Pets welcome. Sleeps 2/4.

So called after the famous West Country Smuggler " Cruel Copinger" who lived on the premises for many years after being shipwrecked on the Hartland coast in 1792.
